The Perfect Daughter – LMN – 2 hours 0 minutes
Natalie just won treasurer of student council and was invited to a party by her crush, Sam. After a crazy party, a very drunk Natalie Parish is rushed to the hospital by her father, Martin. Natalie is treated for alcohol poisoning and questioned about the possibility of being raped. Natalie tells the detectives that everything was consensual. However Natalie’s mood and demeanor changes and father doesn’t believe her. Her father calls the detectives and says Natalie changed her story. Sam is called in for questioning which leads to a ripple effect of uncovered lies, raw emotion, and sobering truths.
This is a strong story because its not the typical Lifetime movie. A Lifetimer will believe they know what will happen next but this story never does the expected. The unpredictability of the twist and turns makes this story amazing. The movie is well acted and runs through all human emotions. The questionable ending is the hardest part to swallow. It will leave you with more questions than answers. So expect a part 2.
