My Life As A Dead Girl

Britney, a teen prostitute, and Chelsea, an abused runaway, bond over their life’s pain. When Britney learns that Chelsea has estranged family, she convinces Chelsea to call them. They are willing to welcome Chelsea with open arms. As payback for her help, Chelsea works with Britney to take back the money her pimp, Jackson, stole from her. Britney gets the money but not before the pimp accidentally shoots Chelsea because he mistook her for Britney. Britney makes an anonymous tip to the cops and go on the run to Chelsea’s family. Britney steals Chelsea’s identity, but knows that her time will soon run out. However, her biggest problem is that she likes her new life with school, family, and a love interest. What will she do when it all comes crashing down?

There are several stories running in parallel to keep this movie interesting.

  1. The cops are looking for an unidentified girl’s killer
  2. Jackson is looking for Britney when he realizes he killed the wrong girl
  3. Kim and Donny start to look into Chelsea’s records to adopt her
  4. Britney/Chelsea is trying to make it in school and gets real friends but keeps some hold habits

This movie is a countdown to who will find out first before Britney cracks. It’s not everyday that your root for the con-artist, but this movie will have you doing just that. And the heart-warming ending is necessary after everything Britney has be through. You need to pay attention to this movie, missing one scene will have you lost. So sit back, relax, and enjoy.
