His Double Life – Lifetime – 2 hours 2 minutes
Scarlet is taking a break from school and staying with her mom and new stepdad, Linda and Greg. Scarlet is still hurting from the untimely death of her father in a car accident, so seeing her mother marry her dad’s business partner makes Scarlet uneasy. With the help of her friends, August and Darcy, Scarlet starts to investigate Greg to find out who he truly is, why he married her mother, and if he was involved in her father’s death.
This movie starts slow and somewhat confusing. You will understand that Scarlet is suspicious of Greg but you don’t know what triggered it. She suspects Greg in her father’s death, but there is not reason why she blamed him. This movie does take a unique turn for a Lifetime movie; and that’s why its enjoyable. This isn’t the insurance scam, extra wife, or extra kids you would expect from Lifetime. The score is basic at best. This movie should be background noise for 30 to 45 minutes, then give it our undivided attention.
I give this movie 3.5 out of 5
For your mother to be happy – Greg
Scarlet listen to me. It’s not your fault – August
You’ll see – Greg
