Ashley and Mike are going on vacation to improve their marriage. Mike had an affair he hopes taking Asley on her long-awaited trip will the best way. He hopes she will stop remembering the past and look towards their future. On their first day, Ashley explains her family’s history with the island. It includes love, loss, and guilt. But she continues to look for the joy in the trip. And that’s when she finds an ankle bracelet with a message of love and hope. She decides to keep it and enjoy her trip. The next day, she notices the bracelet is gone. She believes a maintenance man stole it but Mike warns her that she has no proof. Ashley can’t let it go because she has a bad feeling something has happened. By the end of the movie, there will be several dead bodies, a drug ring, and an affair exposed.
Killer Island is properly named. The number of killers and deaths on this island grow with no sign of slowing down. While you know who committed the current murder, you are left hanging in the wind for the reason why she was killed. And it is deeper than you would believe. While this movie is a new take on the mystery plot, don’t be surprised if you see it on Lifetime under a different name. Watch this movie when you need to kill time but don’t open the wine.
