So if you don’t want to know anything that happens in the movie (including a brief synopsis, skip to the next paragraph. After several successful missions, the Avengers work is being scrutinized because of the escalating human and property collateral damage. One hundred and seventeen countries get together to draft the Accords. In the Accords, any mission must be approved by the UN before the Avengers fight. Each Avenger must sign the Accord or retire. Some Avengers sign right way, others retire, and some decide to sign at the UN Accord’s hearing. It is during this hearing that all hell breaks loose. The king of Wakanda is killed and Bucky is the prime suspect. Captain America, who has not signed the Accords, feels that there is more to the story; but Iron Man, who has signed the Accords, wants to bring Bucky in and sort out the details later. This is the start of the Civil War.
Marvel, Disney, and Industrial Light & Magic do it again!!!! The story holds along with the effects. The 3D is great for the fight scenes but loses some of its magic in dialogue because the glass glare messes with the 3D effect. In order to get this movie you must see Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel’s Avengers, Captain America: Winter Soldier, and Avengers: Age of Ultron; as well as have knowledge of the Manchurian Candidate and Star Wars (FTC Affiliate Disclaimer). However, this movie feels more like Avengers:Civil War and not Captain America:Civil War. It is believed that since this movie is so Bucky-centric, it was flagged as a Captain America Movie. It is worth full price and in 3D. You will laugh, cheer, hold your breath, and say WTF more than once. Stay past the end crawl and be prepared to see Tony Stark as you have never seen him before
I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars
Ready to comply – Winter Soldier
Anybody’s told you you’re a little paranoid – Falcon
I’m not thanking that thing – Black Widow
Yes but the door was opened so I assumed …” – Vision
Awww, he knows me so well – Iron Man
