The Maid – LMN – 2 hours 2 minutes
Laura, a college student and part time physical therapist, needs to escape the frightening events that surround her on campus. She believes her ex-boyfriend, Ben, is waging a campaign of terror against her after a bad break-up. Although, Ben maintains his innocence, Laura goes on vacation 3,000 miles away at her dad’s home. Even with the escape from Ben, Laura now has to deal with her widowed father getting re-married. Although annoyed by the wedding events, Laura is happy to be away. However, the campaign of terror catches up to her with horrible mail, a missing dog, and a sexy picture. Laura doesn’t know how Ben is getting to her but she trust her newly reconnected love interest, Matt, and her new maid, Colleen, to help. Can they? Will they?
This is a background noise movie. Its not long before you know who is doing this and why. You are sitting and waiting for others to figure it out. This movie had the potential to deliver a great social message but drop the ball to be unique. LMN has and will do better. If you need to kill 2 hour, watch this movie. Otherwise, let it go.
I give this 2 out of 5 stars
It’s not fair. It’s not fair. It’s not fair. – Collen
