My Sweet Audrina – Lifetime – 2 hours
Audrina, with an unreliable memory, has been given strict rules.
- Don’t go in the woods
- Don’t talk to boys
- Go to your sister’s grave every Sunday with the family
Audrina knows that she was named after her dead older sister, but doesn’t know exactly how her sister died. Her parents freak out at the mere mention of her going out, having friends, or going to school. Her cousin, Vera, doesn’t make life easier. Vera is jealous because Audrina has the father she has always wanted. Audrina is jealous that Vera has the freedom she always wanted. As Audrina grows, so does her curiosity for life, but she loses her mother, sibling, and sanity. As time goes on, she discovers the cause of all her pain and loss: the family’s biggest secret.
Based on V.C. Andrews, My Sweet Audrina (The Audrina Series), this movie gives twisted families, an all new low that is a joy to watch (FTC Affiliate Disclaimer). You will never guess the family’s biggest secret; and when the secret is revealed, the movie is not over. Be prepared for a roller coaster ride of suspense with love, regained memories, and betrayal at every turn. This isn’t a typical Lifetime movie, but it is expected from V.C. Andrews adaptation.
