Christmas with the Andersons – ION – 2 hours and 0 minutes
Michael and Caroline Anderson started with humble beginnings, but they now live in a mansion with their beautiful twins, Julia and Brendan. Now, Michael is a high power attorney and partner at a law firm with his father, Mr. Anderson. Caroline has her own home-made beauty and bath line. They throw lavish parties to impress and keep up with the Joneses, but with some not-so-lavish gifts for the guests. But within a year, Michael is fired and Caroline’s shop if failing. They try to keep these secrets from each other and pretend everything is fine. And to keep up appearances, they decide to throw their annual Christmas party again. However, with an overzealous party planner, mounting bills, and a lawsuit, everything is falling apart and the secrets will come out.
This is a Christmas story, not about finding love, but rediscovering it. The Andersons, coming from nothing, have spent so much trying to not look poor, that they are poor. They learn that who the were is not shameful but a triumph. It is a good life lesson with some decent laughs … and a lot of shade. Watch it for a different kind of Christmas movie.
