Hearts of Christmas – HMM – 2 hours and 0 minutes

Hearts of Christmas

Jenny and her colleagues feel blessed to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Jenny is putting together a holiday party for all the nurses, but needs to get the budget approved by the new COO, Matt. Matt’s biggest job is to cut cost in order to save the hospital. So when Jenny introduced the party budget, he cuts it down by 25%. But Jenny’s biggest shock comes the next day. Her beloved supervisor, Alice, is pushed into early retirement (along with other upper management). Jenny can’t believe that Matt has done to such a endeared supervisor, especially before the holidays. But he crunched the numbers and knew it must me done to save countless jobs. So, Jenny decides to turn the holiday party into a goodbye party for Alice … forget the budget. Will Matt let it stand?

If you need a way to sleep, this movie will do it. It is slow paced with a predictable ending. With so much holiday programming, this one can be skipped and not worth the DVR space. The use of premies is a grab at the viewers’ heart strings. But it is overshadowed by lackluster performances and a dull script. The information about premies is the only reason for 1 star. Skip it.

I give it 1 out of 5 stars

This never gets old – Alice

If you need any help cutting cost, I’m your guy – Matt

Did it have to happen right before Christmas – Jenny
