Perfect Sisters – Lifetime – 2 hours 2 minutes
Beth and Sandra Anderson have spent their entire lives taking care of their mom, Linda, their home, and their little brother, Bobby. So learning they have to move is just another Sunday. After Beth (a junior) and Sandra (a senior) lie to their principal about their address so they can stay in school, they have high hopes that their mother is turning her life around. However, Linda is quickly drinking, gets “laid off”, dating a physically and sexually abusive man, Steve, and abandoning them. After Linda’s suicide attempt, the girls decide to stick together and kill their mother. Having good grades and speaking 4 languages, the girls can pull this off … with some help from friends and 100,000 reasons. But can they do it? And will their lives be everything they hoped for?
Based off the book, The Class Project: How to Kill Your Mother, this true life crime drama, is hard to believe (FTC Affiliate Disclaimer). Especially, when you consider how many people knew what was going to happen and did nothing to help. But, this is the life the girls knew very well, “Scream for help and everyone ignores you”. This Lifetime movie will make you appreciate your mother while showing the creepiest montage you have ever seen. Do watch, but it can be on your own time. But just keep reminding yourself, this is a true story.
