Note: This review has 0 spoilers. However, skip to the last paragraph if you don’t want a plot summary.

Wade Wilson wanted more from his life because Vanessa asked him to cut out the nonsense. Wade uses Cable’s time-traveling device to join a superhero team, but they reject him. Wade returns to his timeline and sells cars with Peter for 6 years. Deadpool is a thing of the past. Wade bikes home and finds a surprise birthday party waiting for him. His relationship with Vanessa ended, but she is a part of his life. Wade answers a knock at the door and assumes the uniformed people are strippers. They are the Time Variant Authority or TVA. They rip the wig off Wade’s head and pull him into a portal.

Wade wakes up at a table with Mr. Paradox at the opposite end. Mr. Paradox introduces Wade to the TVA and the Sacred Timeline. Mr. Paradox warns Wade that his timeline will end because an ‘anchor being’ died. Concerned, Wade asks how long it will take. Mr. Paradox says thousands of years, and Wade breathes a sigh of relief. But Mr. Paradox isn’t done. He grows tired of waiting for the timelines to die. Mr. Paradox praises the old days when TVA pruned ill-fated branches and saved the people from despair. He is building a Time Ripper to destroy Wade’s timeline but will allow Wade to move to another and spare his life. Wade assumes he’s the anchor being, and Mr. Paradox laughs. Wade’s timeline’s anchor is Wolverine. Wade can’t stomach the thought of losing his friends. He steals Mr. Paradox’s TemPad and jumps through timelines to find a replacement Wolverine.

Wade returns with a suitable Logan and demands Mr. Paradox return them to his timeline. Mr. Paradox laughs because this version of Logan ended his universe. Mr. Paradox sends them to the Void. He expects Cassandra Nova and Alioth to finish the job. Wade and Logan must put their issues aside to leave the Void, stop Mr. Paradox from using the Time Ripper, and save Wade’s timeline. Let’s F-ing Go!!!!

This summary is the easiest way to give you the plot without revealing all the surprises in store for the loyal audience. This movie reaches across universes and production studios to fulfill every fan’s fantasy. And like Deadpool says, “You better have your good sock.” The opening sequence starts with blood, guts, violation, and N*Sync (FTC Affiliate Disclaimer). And you will love it. Then, Wade travels through the timeline and finds a host of Wolverines. They will surprise and humor you. The team-up in the Void is legendary and finishes several characters’ stories while staying true to Deadpool. The graphics hold hidden gems amongst the gore and make your stomach churn with Cassandra’s powers. The music covers all genres and is perfectly inappropriate. This film will surpass your expectations and remind you why you love this franchise. This film is a certified classic and better than the previous films. See this before anyone spoils the surprises. Also, there are post- and mid-credit scenes.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars

John wakes from his 90-day hibernation. After his hibernation, the system warns John that he will experience confusion, nausea, dizziness, and disorientation. He and his crew, Captain Franks and Nash, have two more sleep cycles before their mission. They will travel to Titan, the only moon with an atmosphere denser than the Earth and considered ‘planet-like.’ However, their ship, Odyssey, will need a ‘gravity assist’ to complete the mission. They will use Jupiter to slingshot toward Titan. One misstep will send them hurdling through space with no way home. Captain Franks, John, and Nash go through their system checks, work out, eat, and have psych evaluations before going into their next hibernation.

John opens his chamber and hears noises above his head. He assumes it’s a hallucination until the screws fall, and a piece of the ceiling hits him. John sees Captain Franks and Nash standing above him when he rouses. They ask him what happened. John climbs into the opening and sees a massive buckle in the ship. They watch the outside surveillance cameras but don’t see any objects impacting the ship. They test the internal system, and it passes the checks. Nash believes something is wrong, and the system checks are false positives. Nash presents his case to Captain Franks and asks to abort the mission. Captain Franks refuses because failure is not an option with millions on the line. Nash finds John alone. He asks John to readjust his hibernation schedule. They will wake up 12 hours before the mission and use the ‘gravity assist’ to push them toward Earth. John obliges but has stipulations. They must run the checks first. If everything is fine, they will go to Titan. Otherwise, Earth will be their destination.

Captain Franks calls Nash and John to his quarters. He overheard Nash’s plan. Captain Franks believes Nash’s hibernation shots are negatively impacting his sanity. He warns John to stay the course and become a hero, not a coward. John pretends to agree but sets his hibernation pod to wake up early. However, he is seeing and hearing things on the ship. John admits to Nash about forgetting things but not about the hallucinations. He isn’t sure who to follow. Will they make it to Titan without losing their minds, or will they return to Earth as failures?

Fans of the sci-fi thriller genre will guess the twist in this film. You are correct and wrong at the same time. The writers used your knowledge of the category to create several twists. Then, it ends with the least likely scenario. This film is unintentionally funny and provides a few jump scares. The plot slows when John goes into hibernation. He dreams about meeting and starting a relationship with Zoe. She is a member of the Odyseey’s design team. John uses his memories of her to anchor him to reality. But he starts to mistrust his memories, too. This film creates red herrings among the clues to lead you down a false rabbit hole. You won’t know who to trust, either. You must see this and judge for yourself. Did you guess the ending?

I give it 4 out of 5 stars

Are we friends – Captain Frank

Rest in peace – Nash

You’re talking about a mutiny – John
