Robert Langdon wakes up in the hospital with a wound to his head and amnesia. Soon, he learns he’s in Florence and 2 days have gone by. Then, shots ring out; and he & his doctor, Dr. Sienna Brooks, are on the run. While at Sienna’s home, Robert finds a bio-tube that contains the Faraday pointer. This pointer has a distorted map of Donte’s inferno. Bertrand Zobrist created this map which contains clues to find a virus he created. This virus will wipe out half the world’s population if it’s not found in time. Although his memory is shaky, Langdon, with the help of Dr. Brooks, is determined to find it and save the world; but Langdon has no idea who and how many want to stop him.
Based on the book, Inferno by Dan Brown, this puzzle will mess with the audience as much as it messes with Dr. Langdon (FTC Affiliate Disclaimer). Since they used amnesia to drive the story, you know as much as Robert Langdon. If you have seen the first 2 movies (The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons), you may find some twists and turns predictable, but it’s a good ride (FTC Affiliate Disclaimer). This movie got boring around the love/reconnection part of the movie, but it picked up at the end. This is definitely worth seeing, maybe not a full price, but worth seeing in the theaters.
I give it 3 out of 5 stars
Humanity is the disease. Inferno is the cure – Bertrand Zobrist
Nothing changes behavior like pain – Bertrand Zobrist
You were a weird kid – Prof. Robert Langdon
